Artify studio
Established in 2014, Artify Studio offers a wide range of art services from children art classes, adult art classes, corporate team building sessions to community outreach programmes.
Artify Studio conducts art classes for kids, Liberty Art Jam focuses on art classes for adults and hosts corporate workshops, while the newest member of the Artify family is Artribe — a community programme which aspires to provide a safe space for seniors in our community to remain engaged through art.
Modern life is all about productivity and chasing results. To us, creating art is a reminder for us to be fully present in the moment. Fronted by people-loving individuals who are passionate about art, we do not believe in "thinking out of the box" because we aren't limited by one in the first place. At Artify Studio, we do not believe in hierarchies. Absolutely anyone can do art regardless of the background they come from.
We aim to cultivate a better learning culture through art by providing a non-judgmental environment for absolutely anyone to experience the magic of art-making. Art is not a luxury, but for everyone.
We also believe that art is neither an occupation nor an industry; it can be done daily regardless of its form. No matter the level of experience an individual possesses, everyone is warmly welcome to our studio.
A room to others, a playground to us. We see our classrooms as a creative space to welcome new inventions and where fantasies come to life — some brought to paper, some even interpreted into patterns; a space where apples are purple and the seas are orange, complete with incredible stories and theories behind every handmade masterpiece.
Art is a form of expression. It keeps our curiosity running and our minds thinking.
We would like to invite you to embrace vulnerability once again and make memories and friends along the way.

OUR STORY
It was 21-year-old Jae’s retirement dream to own an art studio, and the idea came to fruition way sooner than planned. Artify Studio was born in 2014 with lots of love, support and just $500.
Artify Studio began conducting its first art classes for kids in a cosy shared office space located in Bukit Timah, and gradually introduced art jamming sessions in 2015 with a Pay-What-You-Wish model. Fast forward to today, Artify Studio now conducts our signature Liberty Art Jam, Regular Kids Art Classes, among other workshops.
Artify Studio continues to thrive today because of the tremendous amount of support we have received from you. Thank you for loving us!
liberty art jam
On a quiet night in July, while indulging in a reverie over some wine and music, the concept of “liberty” caught our minds. We dreamt about a communal art space where people can come together and paint, where people would be given as much creative freedom as they would have if they were in their own spaces.
We would call it ‘Liberty Art Jam’.
After pouring weeks of blood, sweat and tears in refining the concept—improving the layout of the studio and stocking up the materials for our art jammers—we launched two sessions of Liberty Art Jam on 2 August 2015 via meetup.com based on a Pay-What -You-Wish model. A total 15 art jammers turned up and we raised a total of $364 in a two meaningful and engaging sessions.
Following the first two months of hosting Liberty Art Jam sessions, we thought, why don’t we turn this into something more sustainable in the long run? It could become a regular communal art space for anyone and everyone. It could provide a familiar and intimate environment for a growing community to paint, escape the rat race and break away from hectic environments.
Painting is a therapeutic activity that benefits Singaporeans because it teaches us to slow down and embrace the moment. Hence, we have decided to organise regular Liberty Art Jam sessions to kickstart our journey towards a gracious and sustainable communal art space.
